The role of a Health Care Assistant is to provide support and assistance to customers in their homes, ensuring they live happily and safely.
* We are seeking individuals who can assist with personal care such as showering or bathing
* Assistance with dressing and incontinence care is also required
* The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties They must have the ability to work independently but also as part of a team The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal We require someone who can maintain confidentiality at all times Also important is being able to follow instructions accurately While being physically fit would be an asset it is not essential Training on any new systems procedures or equipment provided when necessary. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training could also be given if needed.
