We place them at the heart of what we do, providing challenging opportunities to develop within a great team in a supportive environment that allows them to reach their full potential.Key Responsibilities Of The RolePrefabricate and install cable containment in line with layout designs and measurementsInstalled and terminate cable in the correct manner and in line with site standardsEnsure that the works comply with site Quality standards and guidelinesComply with all safety requirements and instructionsEnsure that correct PPE is worn at all time on siteKeep the workplace tidy and free of excess materialsPlan and execute works in the most productive mannerDispose of waste in the correct receptaclesComply with site instructions regarding the preparation and execution of RAMS - SPA's etceteraEssential Criteria For The RoleHands-on experience with UTM Firewalls (FortiGate, Checkpoint) – routing, UTM policies, IPSec VPN setupHands-on experience with Cisco devices (mostly switches)Experience maintaining VMware and Hyper-V infrastructuresFluency in using SCCM for deploying packages, installing updates deploying Windows using OSDFluency in configuring and maintaining Windows Server services (DFS, DNS, AD DS, DHCP, NPS, ADFS, Printing)Experience with managed AV solution (ESET ERA)Knowledge of email flow (SFP, DMARC, NDR troubleshooting)Experience with Cloud solutions - Office 365 (primarily Exchange Online), Azure, AWSExperience with enterprise class backup solutions (CommVault Simpana v10 or newer)Experience with Lync/Skype for BusinessExperience with MS SQL ServerKnowledge of Email Archiving solutions (Veritas)Good knowledge of Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android, Windows)Working knowledge of MDM platforms (AirWatch, MobileIron, InTune)Previous experience with using and troubleshooting Citrix applications.Administration of monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios etc)Desirable Criteria:Problem solving – to take structured approach to problemsAbility to manage and prioritize own tasksProven interpersonal skillsAbility to solve problem within Microsoft operating system environmentInterested in further education, training and developmentFull Driving LicenceCertification (desired)CCNA or CCNPMCSA or MCSE (2008R2 or newer)VMware Certified ProfessionalCitrix CCACheckpoint or Fortinet CertsAbility to prioritise, excellent organisation and administrative abilityUnderstanding of construction documentation an advantage5 + years' experience in a similar roleExcellent communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environmentMercury is an equal opportunities employerApply Now
