Purchasing Operations Manager

As Purchasing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, equipment, and services that ensure seamless operational performance and optimal value for money. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, manage inventory requirements, and support the wider supply chain strategy.
1. Source and procure materials, supplies, equipment, and services for day-to-day operations
2. Research, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness
3. Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and logistics to optimize supplier relationships
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
5. Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams
6. Manage inventory levels and support initiatives to reduce costs
7. Resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, and backorders with suppliers
8. Analyze spend data and prepare reports to inform procurement strategy
9. Ensure compliance with internal quality, environmental, and health and safety standards
