An exciting opportunity to join Ireland's leading independent manufacturer of concrete and bituminous construction materials. We are currently looking for Machine Operatives for our Paving Production Plant in Piercetown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath.
Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, including compliance with policies, procedures, systems, and rules. Report hazards and incidents, and work safely at all times.
2. Adhere to quality control standards to ensure production outputs meet quality standards.
3. Operate automated production plant.
4. Monitor and control elements of the production process.
5. Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
6. Operate forklift and Grab trucks (training provided).
7. Label products correctly.
8. Load products into stock bays.
9. Load customer orders into picking locations or onto trucks.
10. Provide cover for Loading Shovels as a development opportunity.
11. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience with production and automated equipment is desirable.
* Mobile plant qualification experience is desirable.
Skills & Abilities
* Excellent time management skills.
* Knowledge of health & safety requirements.
* Effective communication skills (radio/phone system).
* Ability to resolve recurring problems.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
