Occupational Therapist Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Disability team in Limerick. This part-time permanent position offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment, planning, intervention, and review of occupational therapy programmes tailored to meet the individual needs of each service user. This will involve working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and goal setting.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification;
* CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist;
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, at least 1 year working with adults with intellectual disabilities;
* Experience of working with Adults with Mental Health, Autism, Intellectual disabilities with complex and stress behaviours;
* Experience with Sensory processing (Adults);
* Knowledge and Experience of working with MDT teams;
* Previous experience in leading, supervising, or mentoring junior Occupational Therapists, students, or support staff;
