The Role
You will lead structural design projects across residential, commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design and prepare calculations/specifications for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Manage project timelines, budgets, and compliance with Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes
Conduct site visits and attend meetings
Mentor junior engineers and liaise with clients, architects, and contractors
Requirements
5–10 years’ experience in a consulting engineering environment (Ireland preferred)
Level 8/9 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Chartered Engineer (CENG) with Engineers Ireland, or close to qualification
Proficient in design software (e.g. Tekla, Robot, SCIA) and Revit/BIM
Fluent English and excellent communication skills
