Job Role
We are seeking an in-house lawyer, reporting to the General Counsel, based at our Head Office. The role involves managing corporate secretariat filings, advising on a broad range of legal issues in a dynamic international environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage company secretariat filings and compliance for domestic and international matters.
* Evaluate intellectual property activities, including new developments and trade mark proposals; advise on ownership, use, and infringement issues.
* Handle data protection queries, including data subject access requests, data breaches, and data processing agreements.
* Advise on corporate legal matters such as shareholder issues, regulatory compliance, and assist with policy updates and training materials.
* Review commercial leases and collaborate with external advisors on legal matters related to property.
* Coordinate and execute legal documents, prepare meeting documents, and manage the legal team's case management system.
Key Requirements
* Third-level Law or Business degree.
* Professional qualification (Solicitor or equivalent).
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a qualified solicitor, in-house or in a law firm.
* Experience with company secretariat services, either in-house or in a law firm.
* Knowledge of intellectual property law, data protection law, and commercial property law.
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Broad understanding of business operations and relationships.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and approach issues systematically.
* Adaptability to fast-paced, innovative environments.
