Our client is seeking a highly skilled Chief Compliance & Risk Officer to join a dynamic MiFID firm based in South Dublin.

The Job Develop and maintain comprehensive risk and compliance frameworks, including monitoring plans, policies, procedures, and controls.
Establish and oversee the firms risk appetite statement and ensure adherence to it, while maintaining the firms risk register.
Coordinate risk evaluation processes and implement controls to mitigate operational and non-operational risks.
Monitor compliance with investment policies, trade reporting, and surveillance activities, aligning with regulatory requirements such as the Market Abuse Regulation.
Act as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer, advising the CEO and Board of Directors on all risk and compliance matters.
The Candidate Proven experience in risk and compliance roles within a financial services or MiFID firm.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including Market Abuse Regulation and Product Governance requirements.
Excellent analytical skills to identify risks and implement effective controls.
Demonstrated ability to lead internal awareness initiatives on risk and compliance regulations.
Exceptional communication and advisory skills to effectively interact with the CEO and Board of Directors.
