Injection Moulding Technician Job
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Injection Moulding Technician, responsible for providing technical support and leadership on production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight for injection moulding process start-up, process monitoring during running, and shutdown in a safe manner to achieve production targets for quality product (customer volume, yield, scrap, and material cost).
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner using a systematic approach to 'root cause' problem solving.
* Ensuring tool set-up and changeover activities are optimised to meet production targets.
* Supporting process engineer in the development of new process set-up, proof of concept, and validation runs for existing and new production and prototype tools.
* Ensuring completion and accuracy of required documentation in the manufacturing area from all operation team members supporting injection moulding.
* Participating in continuous improvement projects using 'Decoupled' process and lean tools to optimise injection moulding performance and improve reliability.
* Distributing personnel as per planning from Team Leader / Shift Manager.
* Assuming responsibilities of Team Leader / Shift Manager when necessary.
* Collaborating with quality personnel to rectify any issues promptly.
* Complying with EHS and c GMP policies and procedures, leading safety audits, 5 S, and c GMP activities online.
* Supporting the development of documentation, training, and work instruction activities within injection moulding.
* Supporting cross-training of personnel across injection moulding programmes site-wide, ensuring skills and knowledge gained through process training are applied consistently.
* Supporting all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
* Ensuring ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.
* Ensuring compliance with all learnings from all GMP training events.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of injection moulding process and its requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proven track record of improving process efficiency and reducing waste.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in engineering or related field preferred.
