Role Profile Job Title: Executive Support Administrator Division/Function: Home Building Finance Ireland Job Family: Investment, Asset & Liability Management Career Stream: Professional Career Zone: Administrative Reports to: Company Secretary Contract: Permanent ** Closing date for applications - 08/10/25 ** Summary of the Business The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government.
It has evolved from a single function agency managing the National Debt to a manager of a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities.
Businesses managed by the NTMA include borrowing for the Exchequer and the management of the National Debt, the State Claims Agency, the New Economy and Recovery Authority ("NewERA"), the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, National Development Finance Agency and the NTMA Future Ireland Funds business unit with responsibility for the management of the Future Ireland Fund and Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund.
The NTMA also assigns staff to the National Asset Management Agency, the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI) and Home Building Finance Ireland (HBFI).

HBFI has been established as a commercial entity, providing finance at market rates for commercially viable residential developments.
Role Summary The purpose of this role is primarily to provide strong administrative and business support to the CEO and Company Secretary.
The ideal candidate will be capable of handling a wide range of Board and Executive support related tasks.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, proactive, well-organised and driven to support HBFI in delivering its mandate.
The ability to interact with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels sometimes under pressure, is essential.
A high level of professionalism and confidentiality/discretion is crucial for this role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are equally important.
Principal Accountabilities Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following: Main responsibilities: Provide confidential complex calendar management for the CEO including proactively identifying any potential challenges or conflicts.
Support the Company Secretary with Board, Committee, and Executive Management Team meetings including scheduling, preparation of meeting papers, circulation of papers via a Board portal, setting up of meeting rooms, co-ordination of presenters, attend and minute meetings etc.
Assist the Company Secretary in providing support to the Board, Committees, and Executive Management Team as required.
Produce documents and reports, excel spreadsheets, power point presentations, and agendas as required.
Arrange internal and external meetings & events within specified budget to include booking of venue, facilities, equipment, catering, invitations & running order.
Such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
Experience / Skills required for the role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High standard of written and spoken English Highly competent in Microsoft Office - use of Word/PowerPoint/Excel, Power BI, Sharepoint, etc.
Flexible, able to work on own initiative.
Able to manage competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail.
Good co-ordination skills.
Preferable: 3rd level business/finance/project management Qualification Some experience of attending and minuting meetings Some experience of supporting projects / programme delivery Some experience of events organisation/co-ordination Some experience attending meetings and stakeholder engagement Pension Abatement If an appointee has previously been employed in the Civil or Public Service and that appointee is entitled to or in receipt of a pension from the Civil or Public Service or where a Civil/Public Service pension comes into payment during the appointee's re-employment that pension will be subject to abatement in accordance with Section 52 of the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and other Provisions) Act 2012.
