5 Month Contract | Remote (In Ireland)
Our client is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join their team, focusing on pre-sales and leading technical engagements with customer to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
* Marinating expert knowledge of the clients product and platform.
* Leading technical engagements and demonstrating solution capabilities to customers.
* Handling competitive objections and assisting with formalizing customer proposals.
* Leading discovery sessions to identify customer challenges and needs.
* Leading proof-of-concept (POC) engagements for high-priority scenarios and documenting the outcomes.
* Collaborating with partners and internal teams to ensure a smooth deployment and customer success.
* Anticipating and addressing technical blockers, such as privacy, compliance, and security concerns, early in the sales process.
* Showcasing the value of the clients business solutions to win technical decisions against competitors.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting.
* A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
* 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience/
* Equivalent experience is also accepted.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of related experience and a strong background in several areas including:
* Solution pre-sales for business applications.
* Orchestrating large, virtual teams for complex business application deals.
* Proven success in competitive displacement.
* A deep understanding of business application solutions and commercial cloud offerings, particularly of the clients platforms, with knowledge of competitors.
* Experience with business value selling methodologies.
* A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering customer value.
