Electronics Innovator Role
Mbryonics is a leading organization in free space optical communications, pioneering the development of photonic integrated circuits and advanced optical systems. We seek an Electronics Innovator to join our team, driving groundbreaking advancements at the intersection of electronics and photonics.
This role presents a unique opportunity to design, simulate, and verify high-speed analog circuits for ICs and photonic chips, including transimpedance amplifiers, limiting amplifiers, laser drivers, data converters, voltage references, low-noise amplifiers, and power management units.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop high-speed analog circuits for ICs and photonic chips
* Collaborate with photonic device engineers to optimize circuit performance and work with digital and mixed-signal design teams to define interfaces and ensure proper system functionality
* Conduct comprehensive simulations to ensure circuit performance, stability, and robustness across process, voltage, and temperature variations
* Develop and implement test plans for characterization and validation of analog circuits
* Participate in layout optimization and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Requirements
* Bachelors, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in analog IC design with a strong portfolio of successful tape-outs in advanced node CMOS or BiCMOS processes
* Proven experience designing high-speed analog circuits (e.g., >10Gbps)
* In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and analog circuit design fundamentals
* Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, Keysight ADS)
