AXA Ireland is seeking an innovative and motivated AI Factory Senior Manager to join our team and report directly to the Chief Data Officer.
In this critical role, you will spearhead AXA Ireland's AI Factory, our premier center of excellence dedicated to the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and advanced analytics use cases.

You'll work majority of your week away from home.
Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you'll be doing: Lead the AI Factory, overseeing the delivery of AI and advanced analytics use cases through cross-functional teams.
Act as a senior stakeholder and technical lead, ensuring scalable solutions that align with business value.
Represent the AI Factory in senior internal forums and coordinate with AXA Group stakeholders.
Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and shape the use case pipeline.
Champion agile delivery practices, ensuring high-quality sprint ceremonies and consistent project outcomes.
Foster a culture of innovation and responsible AI, promoting experimentation within the Factory.
Provide mentorship and leadership to team members, supporting their career development and technical growth while driving alignment with AXA Ireland's strategic initiatives.
Qualifications 7+ years' experience in data science, analytics, or AI/ML roles with experience in scaling AI solutions & embedding them into business processes.
A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field is required, with a Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in Data Science, AI or Machine Learning beneficial.
Proven track record of delivering complex use cases or data products in a commercial environment.
Experience leading high-performing teams within an agile framework.
Demonstrated success in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience working in the financial services or other relevant sectors.
This role is an allocated CF1 role under Fitness & Probity Regime, which means the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced level of background screening requirements.
