Area Sales Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team in Galway. This role is perfect for someone passionate about growing market share, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving revenue in the region.
This role involves managing and developing sales across the Galway area to achieve and exceed targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with retail and wholesale customers, developing and implementing strategic sales plans to grow the business, leading negotiations and closing deals, representing the company at customer meetings and industry events, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and acting as a brand ambassador to uphold the company's reputation and values.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, preferably in FMCG or food sectors, and possess strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, be customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills, and hold a full driving license (company car provided).
