Role
The role involves working within the Forensic Accounting department to collaborate with solicitors and barristers, providing assistance with the financial aspects of all types of litigation and supporting at all stages—pre‑trial, trial, and settlement. Primary work focuses on marital separation cases, while also involving commercial litigation and disputes, personal injury cases, financial investigations, and fraud.
This position offers the opportunity to sharpen your forensic accounting knowledge, help resolve issues for families in difficult times and assist companies in uncovering fraud, insider trading, and embezzlement.
Qualifications
* A qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CA SA
* Good knowledge of accounts and tax
* Enjoy analytical work
* Good communicator – capable of giving evidence in court (skill developed over time)
* Available to give expert witness in court late afternoons and some evenings
