Job Title
Business Development Manager – Clearwater Compliance (Part of Marlowe Environmental Services)
Key Responsibilities
Effectively and accurately identify and complete tenders and PQQ applications to company standard, liaising with colleagues appropriately and in a timely manner to ensure prompt and correct submission.
Strengthen bonds with key national accounts and FM companies.
Prospect and develop new regional and nationally based business to achieve individual targets, effectively and accurately utilising the company's CRM system.
Actively sell all product groups to new customers to support the wider sales team with cross‑selling and upselling to existing customers.
Proactively manage key and national accounts via effective communication with regional sales and delivery teams to ensure tasks are completed as required.
Ensure effective and clear transfers of accounts to regional teams.
Conduct regular review meetings ensuring all services are delivered accurately and in a timely manner and that records are accurate and comprehensive.
Prepare and provide quotations, in accordance with industry and company standards, and utilising the CRM system.
Ensure the company's CRM system is maintained with accurate and relevant customer information.
Promote service and product offerings at trade fairs, networking events and via chosen media routes to support the company strategic growth goals.
About You
Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the water management or hygiene sector.
Ideally knowledge of L8 Legionella regulations and water hygiene practices.
Strong aptitude for building relationships, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in using CRM systems for managing sales processes and customer information.
A full Republic of Ireland driving licence is required.
Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented with the drive to achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.
Ability to provide strategic insight and identify new market trends.
