Software QA Engineer 6 month daily rate contract €400-450 per day Must be based in Ireland Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Software QA Engineer to join a talented engineering team.
You will primarily focus on designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites using C# and Selenium.
What You'll Do: Design, develop and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
Collaborate closely with development, product and other QA engineers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Write automated test cases, analyse results, and identify defects.
Report, track and verify software defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Help define and implement test data management strategies.
Provide clear and concise bug reports and test summaries.
Requirments: 5+ years of professional experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
Strong hands-on experience in developing automated tests using C#.
Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team.
Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for quality.
Nice to have: Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
