Site Agent BusConnects (Dublin) A Site Agent is required by a leading civil and utilities contractor to oversee works on the BusConnects Core Bus Corridor schemes in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer or Site Agent to play a key leadership role in delivering one of Irelands most high-profile public transport infrastructure programmes. The project involves major civils and utilities works, including road construction, drainage, ducting, and utility diversions (water, gas, ESB, and telecoms), forming part of the wider national initiative to enhance Dublins sustainable transport network and improve connectivity across the city. Duties: Oversee the day-to-day management of site operations from planning through to completion. Lead and coordinate site teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Manage construction activities, including utilities diversions, drainage, ducting, and roadworks. Ensure compliance with design specifications, project drawings, and client requirements. Liaise with clients, consultants, utility providers, and local authorities to coordinate works and resolve on-site issues. Monitor progress, programme delivery, and resource allocation. Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and cost tracking documentation. Promote and maintain a strong Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture on-site. Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and problem-solving to support efficient delivery. Requirements: Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 57 years experience in civils and utilities infrastructure projects, ideally with exposure to large-scale urban transport or road schemes. Proven track record managing utilities diversions, drainage, road construction, and reinstatement works. Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Strong understanding of Health & Safety, QA/QC, and environmental compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software. Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel to project sites across Dublin. Salary & Benefits: Salary circa €7585K, depending on experience. Excellent benefits package.
