We are looking to recruit a motivated and reliable Truck Operative to join our growing team in Navan.
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently empty domestic and commercial bins in line with assigned collection routes.
Identify and avoid the collection of contaminated or restricted bins.
Ensure bins are returned neatly to their designated location after service.
Assist the driver during collections, including guidance during reversing and route familiarisation.
Maintain excellent customer service standards through professional and courteous interaction with the public and colleagues.
Accurately complete all daily paperwork, including clocking in/out.
Report any operational issues, incidents, or hazards to your line manager without delay.
Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Participate in the onboarding and training of new team members when required.
Candidate Profile:
1–2 years of experience in the transport or waste management industry (desirable).
Manual Handling certification (required).
Safe Pass certification (advantageous).
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Flexibility to work across different teams or operational areas as needed.
Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
Strong commitment to safety, dependability, and teamwork.
