We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team in Portlaoise. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various sectors, including farming, food, and agribusiness.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess strong technical knowledge and skills in accounting, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and review of financial accounts and tax computations for sole traders, companies, and partnerships;
* Management of a portfolio of clients, providing regular updates and support as needed;
* Collaboration with other team members to achieve business objectives and improve client satisfaction;
Requirements:
* A recently qualified or finalist accountant pursuing a CPA / ACCA / ACA qualification;
* Minimum of one year's experience working in a public practice environment;
* Strong technical knowledge and skills in accounting, including financial planning and analysis;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
* A willingness to learn and develop professionally, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
