About the role
Note: We are currently considering candidates based in Germany, UK and Ireland at this time.
As part of the Shopify Revenue team, the Senior Partner Manager role extends our GTM reach and drives revenue through partners. Responsible for creating new partner relationships and fostering existing relationships.
This role will own local enterprise partnerships (agencies, technology partners) ensuring their continued success and growth, as well as managing local relationships with regional System Integrator teams.
You'll need to have:
1. Fluency in German and experience in the DACH region.
2. A strong understanding of Shopify’s competitive landscape, specifically BigCommerce, Salesforce Cloud Commerce, Adobe Magento, Commercetools, among other MACH Alliance members.
3. Experience working with design, development, and digital marketing agencies.
4. Proven ability to develop unique, scalable, high-impact partnerships for shared value.
5. Creating and monitoring merchant acquisition strategies that can be scaled across multiple partners and partner types.
6. Assess the effectiveness of your regional initiatives. Report on success metrics, insights, and recommendations.
7. Experience in working with partnerships, sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
8. Experience in working with stakeholders from different disciplines.
9. Experience in project management and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Excellent communication and organizational skills while being able to stay focused on the big picture and pay attention to details.
