Supermarket Store Manager – Laois
Excel Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Supermarket Store Manager to join our client's supermarket in Co. Laois. In this role, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the supermarket, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably within the supermarket or grocery industry.
Salary: €55k – €60k
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of supermarket operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
2. Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
3. Manage inventory, including ordering, stock control, and merchandising
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
5. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
6. Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales and profitability
7. Monitor financial performance and prepare reports for senior management
8. Recruit, train, and develop store staff to maintain high standards of performance
9. Ensure the store is clean, well-organised, and adequately staffed at all times
