Job Title: Care Assistant (Days & Nights)
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Lawnfield House, providing residential respite care for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, or as an older person.
Main Responsibilities
* To promote and ensure the highest standards of care, in compliance with statutory requirements, meeting the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents within the Christian ethos of Lawnfield House.
* To be responsible for management and staff leadership, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
Key Qualifications and Skills
* Understanding and respect for the needs of older people or those with learning and physical disabilities.
* Awareness of Health and Safety practices within a working environment.
* Ability to undertake relevant training, such as induction training or NVQ/QCF level 2.
* Proficiency in understanding, communicating, and writing in English to the level required by the duties of the post.
* Willingness to maintain registration with the appropriate professional regulatory body.
* Satisfactory Access NI check.
* Registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council within 6 months of appointment is a requirement of this position.
