About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts professional to join our busy team due to a continued period of growth. The ideal candidate will undertake a hands-on role preparing accounts, bookkeeping, payroll and some tax responsibilities for a mixed client base.
Main duties will include:
* Bookkeeping
* Processing Purchase / Sales Invoices
* Reconciliations
* Payroll
* VAT Returns
* Basic personal and corporate tax
* Annual Accounts / Year End Accounts
* Ah hoc duties as required
Essential Eligibility Criteria:
* Previous relevant experience in a small to medium sized practice environment (Preferred)
* Experience of using computerised accounting software (Xero/Sage/Quick Books)
* Good working knowledge of practical payroll matters and current legislation
* Strong MS Excel skills
* Motivated and flexible attitude
* Ability to liaise with clients across a range of sectors
* Team player
* Keen eye for detail
* Effective communicator
