Key Responsibilities
* Drive Business Growth: Oversee the entire parts business, focusing on improved customer relationships and strategic planning to increase revenue.
* Enhance Customer Service: Monitor and improve customer service levels delivered by the parts team to ensure satisfaction.
* Manage Stock Levels: Manage stock levels, daily and emergency orders, new and warranty parts returns for efficient operations.
* Report Performance Metrics: Report monthly on department performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Tender Submissions and Key Accounts: Compile tender submissions and manage key accounts to expand business opportunities.
* Cultivate Business Opportunities: Develop business opportunities through customer visits and prospecting for sustainable growth.
* Collaborate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and objectives.
Requirements include 5+ years of automotive spare parts experience, business development skills, technical understanding of commercial vehicles, leadership and people development skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong negotiation abilities.
