With Taste catering are looking to hire a Head Pastry Chef on a full-time permanent basis.The successful candidate will be producing in our culinary Centre & head office based in Dublin 10.ROLEThe pastry chef is responsible for all production of desserts and pastissiere across our business.Responsible for small teamThe ideal candidate must liaise regularly with the executive development chef and head chef.Must keep to deadlines, strict budgets and food costsIn addition to producing and managing this high end production, the pastry chef must handle tasks such as supervising employees, training staff, ordering supplies, creating budgets, adhere to sanitation regulations.Duties· Develop menus and recipes, ideation and innovate.· To maintain cost control on a weekly basis· Keep HACCP records, take stock takes and place food orders· Keep to budgets and food cost percentages· Keep up with new trends and be innovativeExperience3-5 years previous experience in a similar role is preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: €42,000.00-€45,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Cherry Orchard, CO.
