A Principal Energy Engineer is required to join our Energy Team in either the Cork, Dublin or Carlow office.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the growth of our Energy and Planning Division, working collaboratively with a team of experienced professionals.

Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill this challenging role. The Principal Energy Engineer will be responsible for:
* Preparing and reviewing technical reports to ensure high-quality deliverables;
* Planning and overseeing design activities in close collaboration with project teams;
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships;
* Contributing to the preparation of tenders and proposals;
* Providing line management and leadership to team members;
* Ensuring compliance with our quality assurance systems, management procedures, and relevant health and safety legislation;
* Coordinating effectively with colleagues and other team members across disciplines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you will need:
* A degree in Civil Engineering;
* A minimum of 12 years' post-graduate experience;
* Chartered Engineer status;
* Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills;
* Proven experience in engaging with external stakeholders, clients, and sub-contractors;
* Adaptable, collaborative, and an effective team player;
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently;
* Experience in project managing the preliminary civil design of renewable energy projects is advantageous, though not essential.
