Responsibilities of the Legal Bookkeeper Job include:
* Assist in managing daily bookkeeping tasks across five branches
* Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting and Law Society regulations
* Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner
* Process payroll for staff, including payslips and deductions
* Prepare management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
* Reconcile bank accounts regularly
* Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes
Requirements of the Legal Bookkeeper Job:
* Previous experience in bookkeeping; legal experience is advantageous
* Strong knowledge of accounting software (Keyhouse Sam Accounts Package) and Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes
