The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing VAT returns, processing payroll, preparing management accounts, and reconciling bank accounts.

Responsibilities of the Legal Bookkeeper Job include:
Assist in managing daily bookkeeping tasks across five branches
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting and Law Society regulations
Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner
Process payroll for staff, including payslips and deductions
Prepare management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Reconcile bank accounts regularly
Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes
Requirements of the Legal Bookkeeper Job:
Previous experience in bookkeeping; legal experience is advantageous
Strong knowledge of accounting software (Keyhouse Sam Accounts Package) and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Ability to maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes
