Senior Manager Technical Project Management
LSC has a great contract opportunity for a Planner/Scheduler to join an innovative and rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company in Limerick. The facility is responsible for the production, packaging, labeling and delivery of biopharmaceutical medicines for global markets. The company currently markets medicines for various diseases and has a rich pipeline of products.
Purpose: This position is responsible for the Tech Ops planning, scheduling, tracking, and control of its functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and implement planning, reporting and analytical tools for the Tech Ops organisation.
* Chair weekly planning & scheduling focused meetings.
* Track and control and report out accurately plan vs actual.
* Comply with all current IOPS cGxP's (e.g. Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, etc.).
* Maintain inspection readiness.
* Create clear and tangible work plans to enable technician execution.
* Interact with the CMMS system, grouping and sorting large data sets into executable packages of work.
* Level load and resource planned work-fronts.
* Highlight schedule issues and constraints, propose potential mitigations.
* Roll up and summarize detailed schedules—tailor for a specific audience.
* Establish KPIs and routinely track and report for the specific function you are working in.
* Engage and interact with cross‑functional groups for schedule development and forward planning.
* Chair schedule workshops where required and conduct schedule scenarios.
* Liaise with Manufacturing and Maintenance scheduling colleagues to agree on handover dates, windows of availability and access.
* Lead by example; share knowledge and experience within your team—operate with a one‑JOPS mindset.
* Produce micro‑schedules/high‑level timelines to focus on the delivery of different aspects within a certain project.
* Maintain the physical condition and environment of all areas and equipment—maintain safe, clean and compliant (SCC) standards.
* Adhere to and remain current in assigned IOPS plant and department SOPs and required trainings; maintain an up‑to‑date training file to ensure compliance.
* Any other projects as assigned by supervisor.
Education and Experience
* BS/BA in engineering or a scientific related field or relevant trade qualification, along with 5+ years of experience in a similar position. Relevant experience may substitute the educational requirement.
* Proficient knowledge and use of the Microsoft Suite of software packages, including MS Project.
* Knowledge and experience with Oracle Primavera.
