Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring Officer Reporting to the PIA Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for executing compliance monitoring for PIA and supporting your line manager in a variety of compliance tasks including review of literature and financial promotions and activity relating to the Individual Accountability Framework. Key Responsibilities for this Role: Responsible for executing the deep dive reviews proposed in the PIA Compliance Monitoring Plan including drafting planning, work programmes and findings reports for Manager review Responsible for tracking and managing the closure of actions arising from PIA Compliance Monitoring Deep Dive reviews Responsible for drafting and regularly refreshing the Compliance Risk Assessment and the Compliance Monitoring Plan for Manager review Responsible for preparing the Compliance Risk and Control Self Assessment and Annual Statement of Compliance Attestation for Manager review Additional Responsibilities may include: Responsible for overall management of the PIA Compliance Breach Management Process, including tracking remediating actions to closure Responsible for drafting, updating and maintaining relevant policies, standards and procedures Responsible for reviewing PIA literature Responsible for the execution of the Individual Accountability Framework (Fitness & Probity, SEAR and Conduct Standard processes) that are owned by PIA Compliance Act in support of the wider PIA Compliance team for topics such as Data Privacy activities and regulatory reporting Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Professional compliance qualification or suitable equivalent Professional risk qualification or suitable equivalent At least 5 years of practical experience within a CBI or FCA regulated financial services firm or consultancy Life insurance industry experience ideal Experience of applying monitoring / audit methodologies within financial organisations Good knowledge and practical experience of Irish and UK regulatory requirements Experience working in a fast paced environment and meeting deadlines GDPR knowledge and practical experience ideal Commercially focused Critical thinking and ability to analyse data, draw conclusions and make recommendations Clear communicator with ability to explain complicated matters in simple terms, negotiate and persuade stakeholders Well organised self-starter, able to prioritise quickly and adapt to tight timeframes and meet deadlines Able to walk through processes and procedures and detect possible control weaknesses to target testing appropriately Good report writing skills Proficient with Microsoft Office including use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint Location: Dublin Job Level: Experienced Colleague Recruiter: Amy Curtis Closing Date: 23rd January 2026
