We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team of professionals in delivering exceptional customer experiences. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of our operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
* Create and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing.
* Analyse and implement changes to maintain high quality and productivity levels.
* Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity, and improve quality of service.
* Analyse shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
* Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices.
You will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, making sure it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety, upholding quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.
A typical day will be varied, including routine team management, daily operational responsibilities, process improvement, and wide-scale operational contingency tasks. You will also be a role model and mentor to new managers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* A degree.
* Relevant experience in people management.
* Relevant experience communicating with stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
* Relevant experience using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques.
* Experience working in another logistics environment.
* Relevant experience working with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
