Assistant Manager – Revenue AccountingOnly candidates withsolid Team Leader / Management experience in airline revenue accounting roleswill be considered.Location:MaltaWork Model:On-siteStarting Date:ASAPLanguage:English (C2 / Native)Contract:Permanent, Full-timeProbation Period:12 monthsPosition SummaryReporting to the Airline Revenue Accounting – Head of Operations, the Assistant Manager (Revenue Accounting) will lead a team of revenue accounting technicians and coordinators, ensuring high-quality service delivery to airline clients while maintaining compliance with industry standards and SLAs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop a revenue accounting teamImplement new airline clients and revenue accounting processesProvide analytical and operational support to clientsEnsure compliance with SLAs, budgets, and industry regulationsEstablish team goals and drive continuous process improvementsBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsSupport critical deliverables for key airline clientsPropose and implement efficiency and process enhancement initiativesSupport and lead system implementations and migrationsMonitor quality and accuracy of revenue accounting deliverablesStay up to date with airline revenue accounting standards and regulationsPerform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by managementSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of airline revenue accounting (ticket sales, ancillary revenue, refunds, interline billing)Familiarity with IATA Revenue Accounting Manual and industry standardsExperience with complex revenue recognition and regulatory complianceStrong analytical skills with large data setsForecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis expertiseProcess optimization and automation mindsetExperience supporting or leading system implementationsProven leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal & written)High attention to detail and accuracyQualifications & ExperienceHands-on experience in airline revenue accounting or similar back-office operationsPrevious Team Leader or Management experience (mandatory)Experience within airline companies is mandatoryBPO experience is a plusStrong Excel and reporting skillsOrganised, reliable, and detail-orientedImportant:Only candidates withsolid Team Leader / Management experience in airline revenue accounting roleswill be considered.Salary & BenefitsGross annual salary: €30,000 – €35,000 (including KPI bonuses)KPI-based bonus structureMobile allowancePossible one-time retention bonus after 2 years of serviceWork permit & visa sponsorship (if applicable)Relocation support: €2,000 (paid after 1 month of employment)Private health insuranceFull training providedCareer progression opportunitiesMobile schemesGym packages includedIn-house canteen with healthy food optionsMonthly company eventsFree on-site parkingStaff discounts in over 50 businessesDress Down FridaysAdditional NotesCandidates already residing in Malta must attend face-to-face interviews.European passport or valid Maltese work permit is required (project-dependent).
