Compliance Officer (HR)
We are working with an industry leader, to recruit an experienced Compliance Officer (HR) to join the HR team in Co Cavan.

The Compliance Officer (HR) will be responsible for overseeing and continuously monitoring compliance across right-to-work and work permit requirements, working time regulations, HR data governance, and broader employment legislation.
The role ensures the organisation remains legally compliant, audit-ready, and proactive in identifying and managing HR-related risks.
Responsibilities
Manage work permits, immigration, and right-to-work compliance, including applications, renewals, and expiry tracking.
Ensure compliance with working time legislation by monitoring hours, rest periods, and attendance records.
Support GDPR and people data compliance, including data retention, DSARs, and access controls.
Maintain accurate, audit-ready HR records and coordinate internal and external compliance audits.
Ensure all onboarding and employee lifecycle processes meet statutory and internal compliance requirements.
Track compliance metrics, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in HR controls and processes.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in HR operations, HR compliance, or workforce compliance roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Irish work permits / immigration processes.
Working knowledge of Irish employment law, particularly working time legislation.
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or regulated environments desirable but not essential.
