My client, a rapidly expanding Main Contractor are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support continued growth across residential and commercial projects. This role will be based in Skerries, Co. Dublin and will focus on developing new client relationships, identifying project opportunities, and supporting the company's long-term expansion.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with experience in the construction industry who is looking to take ownership of business development activities within an established and reputable contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, main contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers
Generate and manage a pipeline of new project opportunities
Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
Monitor market trends and upcoming construction projects
Work closely with the estimating and management teams on tenders and proposals
Support the preparation of bids, presentations, and commercial proposals
Maintain accurate records of leads and opportunities
Develop and implement strategic growth plans
Requirements
Proven experience in a business development or sales role within construction
Strong network within the Irish construction industry is highly desirable
Good understanding of construction processes and project lifecycles
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Full driving licence required
