Job Title: Financial Services Lead
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading financial services organisation as a Financial Services Lead/Senior Consultant.
* We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our private equity fund accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
* The successful candidate will oversee the production of Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) and client reports, ensuring quality and compliance with service standards.
* They will coordinate daily workloads, monitor team performance, and ensure adherence to internal and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* A key aspect of this role is developing and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for audits and client queries.
* The Financial Services Lead will also provide ongoing coaching and training to team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
* They will drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and system optimisation projects.
* The role requires collaboration with offshore teams to contribute to departmental planning and delivery of strategic goals.
* Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge of private equity markets, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements is essential for success in this position.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
* Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS is required.
* Experience in Private Equity, Private Capital, Real Estate, Fund Accounting, the property industry, or similar financial reporting functions is essential.
* Proven mentorship skills are necessary for this role.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, are crucial.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client service, are expected.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with fund accounting systems is advantageous.
* Investran experience is beneficial.
* A proactive and adaptable approach, with effective management of multiple priorities, is required.
