Brampton Care & Rehabilitation Centre is recruiting an experienced Assistant Director of
Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in the clinical and operational
management of a modern care and rehabilitation facility in Oranmore, Co. Galway.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a Registered Nurse with strong clinical
governance and people management experience, offering consistent weekday working
hours.
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Support the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day management of clinical services
Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, policies, and procedures
Lead, mentor, and support nursing and care staff
Oversee clinical audits, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives
Promote a high standard of person-centred care
Act as senior clinical lead in the absence of the Director of Nursing
Essential Requirements (Please Read)
Registered Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration
Previous experience as Assistant Director of Nursing, CNM, or Senior Nurse
(essential)
Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and clinical governance
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Experience in elderly care, rehabilitation, or complex care is desirable
