Essential School Psychologist
The role of the School Psychologist is multifaceted and pivotal in fostering students' social and emotional well-being. This position requires a unique blend of advocacy, support services, and comprehensive psychological expertise.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for delivering targeted interventions aimed at addressing academic or behavioral deficits among students. Your ability to interpret testing data, prepare thorough evaluation reports, and maintain accurate records will be essential in meeting the needs of our diverse student population.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Administer tests for initial referrals and reevaluations while adhering to applicable laws.
* Maintain weekly logs of student referrals as required by law.
* Select appropriate tests for assessment purposes according to relevant legal frameworks.
* Prioritize 504/IEP/PST meetings to ensure effective collaboration with key stakeholders.
* Counsel individual students or groups as needed while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Skills And Qualifications
1. A Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution in psychology or a related field is mandatory. A valid driver's license may also be necessary depending on specific job requirements.
Three (3) years of experience working within psychology-related fields would give applicants substantial advantage over their peers.]
