Technical Service Manager - EasyGo
Job Overview
The Technical Service Manager will lead and manage the technical support and service team responsible for maintaining and optimising EasyGo’s charging infrastructure. The role involves ensuring service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency through timely maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of EV chargers. The Technical Service Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company goals.
Day to Day Duties
· Provide quality service to all customers in a timely manner, with responsibility for customer complaint resolution.
· Ensure that all service calls are attended to within contracted SLA.
· Provide status and service reports to recommend next steps to management.
· Build and maintain service contracts with existing clients and prepare new contracts.
· Provide technical and functional leadership support and guidance as required.
· Proactively introduce any process or system improvements around delivery of services.
· Train, monitor staff and sustain relationships with customer satisfaction by following up with customers and field engineers through service competition.
· Take ownership of the warranty process end to end with suppliers and vendors.
· Manage the spare parts process, ensuring that there are enough spare parts in the business both inhouse and with field engineers.
Skills
· Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings.
· Proven track record in the design and administration of Service Level Agreements and excellent document control and reporting.
· Proven track record in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Familiarity with service management tools.
· Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the business
· Strong work ethic and team player abilities
· Self-starter and self-motivated with a proven ability to work on own initiative.
· Excellent attention to detail, adept at multitasking and co-ordinating multiple projects at the same time.
· Proven ability to meet milestones and achieve deadlines.
· Strong detail-oriented work style, and an accommodating and proactive attitude
· Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and MS Project
