Production Management Role
The Production Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and adjust production schedules to meet customer orders and inventory targets.
2. Balance demand, capacity, and resources to optimize output and on-time delivery.
3. Collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure material availability.
4. Lead multiple manufacturing teams, including Team Leaders and Cell Coordinators.
5. Monitor daily operations, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to plans.
6. Provide clear direction, coaching, and development for production teams.
7. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous feedback.
8. Lead regular team briefings and maintain strong floor presence.
9. Develop cross-training plans to maximize team flexibility and responsiveness.
10. Ensure products meet all specifications and compliance standards.
11. Lead root cause investigations, CAPA resolution, and quality system improvements.
12. Drive efficiency and waste reduction initiatives using Lean methodologies.
13. Partner with Quality, Procurement, and Facilities teams for cross-functional improvements.
14. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and environmental regulations.
15. Conduct regular safety audits, training, and incident investigations.
16. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
17. Manage labor and material costs within budget constraints.
18. Track and report key metrics: productivity, yield, downtime, and quality.
19. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising product standards.
