Main Duties Install, wire, and set up plant machinery and equipment.
Work from schematics, blueprints, and instructions with minimal supervision.
Carry out repairs and troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, and packaging equipment.
Respond quickly to breakdowns and perform high-speed repairs to keep production running.
Support new equipment installations and modifications, working with suppliers where needed.
Follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety rules at all times.
Keep accurate records of work completed, including booking parts from the stores.
Take part in training to build new skills and support cross-training within the team.
Help maintain strong performance across the production team and take action when faults occur.
Be flexible with working hours - the role includes call-out duties on a rotation basis.
What We're Looking For A qualified electrician (relevant trade qualification required).
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Mechanical skills or experience in commercial/industrial settings would be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well alone or in a team.
Good time management and ability to handle projects effectively.
