The role of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Lead involves providing strategic safety leadership to support senior management in implementing departmental HSE action plans. This includes developing and maintaining health and safety management systems in line with legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards.

Main Responsibilities:

* Conduct audits to identify risks and ensure corrective actions are taken
">
* Support and review risk assessments, including chemical safety evaluations
">
* Lead or support HSE-related continuous improvement projects
">
* Educate teams on HSE training programs and maintain records
">
* Develop safety manuals, procedures, and checklists
">
* Analyze accidents/incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures
">
* Work with teams to enhance safety, sustainability, and environmental standards
">
">
Requirements:
">
A L8 in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) qualification, along with a NEBOSH Diploma (minimum requirement). At least three year's experience in HSE, advising on legislation and ISO standards. Experience with ISO 17020, Human Factors Engineering (HFE) assessments, and Internal/Lead Auditor qualifications.
