Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities
Install, perform performance testing and qualification of analytical instruments from leading manufacturers (e.g., Malvern Panalytical, Unchained Labs, Surface Measurement Systems) as part of a field-service team.
Provide preventative and corrective maintenance, validation and qualification of instruments, and support customers technically at their sites in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Collaborate with sales engineers and office coordinators; participate in specialist training at our Dublin base and with manufacturers abroad (in the EU, UK and USA).
Work in GxP environments and ensure compliance at all times; maintain organized records and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: A qualification in science, electro-mechanical technology, electronics or engineering.
Recent graduates and those with some experience will be considered.
Desirable: Experience with optics, gas/vacuum technologies, fluidics.
Languages and communication: Fluent English is essential; ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
Technical requirements: Computer literacy with Microsoft Windows is essential.
Other requirements: A full, clean driving license; a current passport and willingness to travel for training; living near Dublin is practical.
