PQ Accountant (TAX)
BenchMark are currently looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant with tax experience/Tax Semi-Senior to join one of Irelands most prominent Accountancy Firms. It would be an ideal role for an ambitious part-qualified accountant with 1-2 years' experience in tax, with a view to moving into a Senior role with the practice once fully qualified.
The Role:
• Assisting in the management of a mixed portfolio of clients.
• Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate income tax clients including preparation of tax computations and returns and ensuring clients' returns and tax payments are correct and filed on time.
• Providing timely and accurate information to clients on ongoing tax issues.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities.
• Research in relation to client taxation issues.
• Conducting tax audits on client premises
Requirements:
• Part-qualified AITI, ACCA/ACA/CPA
• 2 years' experience working in practice. This may suit someone with experience working in a practice looking to specialise in tax.
• A good understanding and knowledge of personal tax and relevant legislation
