Our client requires a Health and Safety professional to oversee commercial building projects in Dublin.
We are inviting experienced applicants to fill multiple positions across all experience levels.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in developing, monitoring and implementing our client's HSEQ policy, ensuring strict compliance with Health and Safety Regulations at all times.
Duties include:
Main Responsibilities
Implement health, safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and management systems.
Assist site managers in drafting and communicating method statements, safe plans of action and toolbox talks.
Provide guidance on health and safety matters to management, safety representatives and employees (including subcontractors).
Deliver comprehensive health and safety induction programs for new employees or subcontractors working on site.
Conduct regular inspections and site audits, reporting findings to site and senior management.
Evaluate actions taken to ensure immediate resolution.
Record and investigate accidents accurately, notify Directors, the Health and Safety Authority and Insurers as required.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent in Health & Safety.
Must have relevant experience in health and safety for a contractor in the Irish or UK markets.
Possess excellent IT skills and communication abilities.
