Role Overview
Acute Medicine at Raigmore Hospital, NHS Highland.
We are offering a fixed‑term 1‑year post (8 positions per annum, 32 hours per week). Funding secure for at least one substantive post; an additional post is being developed.
Core Responsibilities
Provide acute medical care within a modern acute medical ward.
Deliver same‑day emergency care and general medical on‑call.
Complete a one‑week‑in‑six Monday to Thursday rotation at Caithness General Hospital.
Participate in flexible, innovative teamwork and help shape the future of acute medical services across the Highlands.
Qualifications
Registered on the Specialist Register with a Licence to Practice.
In possession of, or within 6 months of obtaining, CCT in Acute Internal Medicine or General Internal Medicine, or a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration via the Combined Programme (CESR).
