Professional Indemnity Gallagher Ireland is part of the Arthur J Gallagher Group, one of the largest insurance brokerages in the world. Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are now seeking to add a Senior Client Account Handler (Professional Indemnity) to our team. The successful candidate can be based in any of our office locations in Ireland. This is a full-time, permanent role.

How you'll make an impact
- Manage client/prospect relationships and grow your portfolio/existing accounts, providing the most appropriate Professional Indemnity insurance advice & risk management solutions.
- Negotiate with insurers to obtain the best coverage & terms for clients that match their requirements.
- Handle your workload to service client relationships and ensure placements are completed timely.
- Keep client information up to date.
- Build strong working relationships, collaborating with other Gallagher teams, always treating others fairly and respectfully.
- Manage renewals within required timelines, following policies and procedures.
- Obtain renewal information from clients for review and re-broking.
- Prepare submissions to markets as needed.
- Issue renewal terms and all supporting policy documents, including debiting premiums.
- Validate insurer's policy documentation for accuracy and ensure timely issuance.
- Disclose issues as they arise, complying with relevant codes and legislation such as CPC, AML/TF, F&P.
- Deliver high-quality client service to maximize retention.
- Advise customers on policy wordings, conditions, and exclusions.
About you
- Experience as an Account Handler/Advisor in a brokerage/insurance setting.
- Minimum requirement: Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP), working towards MDI qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of Professional Indemnity, Cyber & Management Liability products.
- Strong understanding of the client market and insurance industry networks.
