Instrumentation Engineer Role Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in a critical role that involves specifying, installing, and maintaining instrumentation for biopharmaceutical process & utilities systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the site calibration program, evaluating new instrumentation for functional equivalence to existing instrumentation, and implementing corrective/preventative actions for existing instrumentation.
You will also have the opportunity to work with process automation control systems, conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and create and maintain configuration specifications for cGMP manufacturing instrumentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Technical Expertise:
o BEng/BS degree in relevant field (e.g., engineering, science)
o Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer or 8+ years as a Principal Engineer
o Experience with biopharmaceutical process & utilities systems preferred
* Skill Set:
o Logical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
o Strong analytical and organisational skills
o Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
