Job Description
This is a full-time role that requires candidates to be available for work on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure delivery of store targets through effective management of store operations, including marketing, sales, and personnel.
* Recruit, train, and develop high-quality personnel for store operations.
* Roster and manage personnel to ensure adequate cover within budgetary provisions.
* Plan and organize operations to provide consistent service to customers.
* Manage the overall performance of the store, ensuring it meets financial targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess many of the following attributes:
* Proven ability in managing a retail sales team, including planning & organising, problem-solving, managing performance, and operational knowledge.
* Excellent interpersonal relations and understanding of consumer needs.
* Proven track record in achieving agreed targets and financial skills with previous experience in budgets and profit and loss accounts.
* Working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law.
* An excellent commercial acumen with the ability to anticipate and react to market changes.
