Overview
We are supporting a global leader in facilities and workplace services in the appointment of a Senior Account Manager / Account Director to oversee one of their key client partnerships in Ireland. This role will be responsible for leading a complex, multi-site account and ensuring best-in-class service delivery across both office and manufacturing environments. The position carries full responsibility for the operational and financial performance of the account. You will lead a newly mobilised team, ensure compliance with all statutory and contractual requirements, and work closely with the client to deliver high standards of workplace and facilities management. A core part of the role will be driving transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement across the account.
Responsibilities
Overall accountability for account delivery, operational excellence, and financial performance (P&L).
Lead and develop a multi-site facilities team, ensuring best practice in recruitment, training, and performance management.
Act as the senior point of contact for the client, building strong and trusted relationships across multiple stakeholders.
Support the mobilisation of new sites and embed consistent service standards.
Ensure all health, safety, and compliance obligations are fully met.
Deliver and track annual business plans, budgets, and service level agreements.
Introduce innovation and workplace experience initiatives that enhance service quality and value.
Manage union engagement with professionalism, maintaining constructive employee relations.
Identify and support opportunities for service and account growth.
About You
Extensive experience in facilities management or workplace services, with senior account/contract management responsibility.
Proven leadership ability, with experience managing large, diverse, multi-site teams.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
Skilled in building senior client relationships and managing complex stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of operating in unionised environments and leading change.
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
