We are currently recruiting for theMechanical Automation Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) Apprenticeshipon our site in Arklow. The successful candidate will serve their apprenticeship within the Technical Team and will be involved in the maintenance of fully automated and high speed Processing and Packaging equipment. The MAMF Apprenticeship is a4 yearprogramme consisting of 7 phases (4 on-the-job and 3 off-the-job in a training facility)facilitatedthrough SOLAS, the Institutes of Technology and Servier. Key responsibilities Maintaining and troubleshootingproduction processdevices and controlssystems, maintenancetechnicians directly support of manufacturing operations. During thefour yearMAMF apprenticeship, the MAMF apprentice willbe requiredto follow a specific course of training and undergo a series of assessments to confirm that they have reached the industry standardrequiredfor a MAMF maintenance technician in a GDP and cGMP environment. Use of Computerised Maintenance Management SystemCMMS (SAP) Support thequalified Maintenancetechnicians in the provision of effective technical support to Production in all aspects of machine and equipment maintenance,including Packaginglines, Granulators, tablet presses, Tablet Coating machines, Blenders and during preventative and corrective maintenancework flows. To include, but not limited to, the installation, modification, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical process devices and controls systems. Support continuous improvement by activelyparticipatingin repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance and system failure investigations and investigation reports. Participate effectively in receiving training in operational procedures, training materials, maintenanceproceduresand the apprentice program training requirements; ensure all work is carried out in line with same. Educational requirements/skills you will need: The Maintenance Apprentice ideally must be qualified to Leaving Certificate standard or an approvedequivalent. Successfully completed an approvedPre-Apprenticeshipcourse. Experience gained over sixteen years of age in a relevant designated industrial activity. Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude. Be a team player withstrong communicationskills, good attention to detail and a proactive and flexible approach.
